“Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.” - Henry Van Dyke
Ah, the clock, the most majestic of all mechanisations, and you manage to capture that majestic intricacy rather nicely while maintaining the simplicity of its broad exterior design.
My favorite part of this picture is the lighting, it shines with such luminous that I can't help but think of something divine, and that combined with an angle that suffices quite nicely when one's desire is to show the design of the clock whilst maintaing a proper offset to its image.
Although, the image itself seemed like an obvious one to take, and despite the clarity of it all I can't seem to shake the feeling that you could have done something more with the idea.
The picture did its job well and clearly accomplished what I would imagine your goal to be. So I congratulate you on a beautiful picture with many possible backstories and uses.
The colors look great with the clock, which looks like it's been around a long time, that beautiful old weathered feeling (while still looking new), it really gives the photo a vintage feel
